Week 4?!?! Already?!?!?

Last week recap:

Tuesday I did 3.5 at the track.
Wednesday: 4 miles in the morning.
Thursday: 6 on the treadmill
Friday: nada
Saturday: 6.5 mile trail run with the amigos and hubby on the bike.

This week:
Monday (today): 5 miles with a hill somewhere
Tuesday: 4 miles at track
Wednesday: A little strength and stretch
Thursday: must go to kettlebells...but I am anticipating not making it since I am giving a training at work the next morning and will most likely be at work late.
Friday: 3-4 miles, most likely on a trail + laps at the pool (?)
Saturday: 9 miles
Sunday: Rest

Main focus this week: EAT! SLEEP! Stay away from carbs!

Any specific goals out there for this week?

  1. I love your schedule, you are a mad woman :) Goals this week - recover from 1/2 and try to focus on elliptical/bike until Saturdays long run. Maybe I will run a few 3-5 milers to keep the fluids running. Try to stay away from sugar, my weakness. Carbs can go as well!

btw - it is me Elizabeth Delgado (Mrs. Skinny)

    1. Yes!!! Mrs. Skinny, I am working to get to your half marathon time!! Great job! We'll see how this schedule works out. See you soon!!!

  2. Wow! What a jam-packed week!

I've been doing my regular running (recovery week) and my big goal is to get out and run the big bridge again on Saturday.

    1. Awesome! Recovery is super important! Happy recovery week to you!

  3. I just started reading your blog on your last post. What are you training for? Nice job with the mileage!

    1. I'm training for a trail half marathon at the end of July. And thank you for the encouraging words. I need it. I think we all need motivating words while training. My toughest day of the week is Monday. If I don't get everything in order on Sunday for the coming week, it all falls on Mondays and then my run never happens...but I just make up the mileage later in the week. So far so good.

I look forward to your comments, ideas, suggestions, questions, opinions, tips, etc.
